GS certification

The meaning of GS is the German "Geprufte Sicherheit" (safety certified) and also the meaning of "Germany Safety". The GS certification is based on the German Product Safety Law (GPGS) and is a voluntary certification based on the European Union's unified standard EN or the German industrial standard DIN. It is a recognized German safety certification mark on the European market.
The 1.GS mark is a safety certification mark issued by the German Labor Department authorized by TUV, VDE and other agencies.
The GS mark is a safety mark accepted by customers in Europe. Usually GS certified products are sold at a higher unit price and are more popular.
2. The European Union’s CE regulations govern the “Low Voltage Directive (LVD)” from 1997.1.1. The GS already contains all the requirements of the "Low Voltage Directive (LVD)". Therefore, after obtaining the GS mark, TUV will issue a CE certificate (COC) for this product LVD free of charge, TUV SÜD, TUV Rheinland's certificate after 97 years will include the LVD certificate in the GS certificate. The LVD certification was obtained at the same time as the manufacturer applied for the GS.
3, gs certification requirements for products and documents: - Products to pass the European safety standards type experiment. - The product structure must meet the standard requirements. - Instructions (German, English) must meet the standards. - English documents such as “Structure Chart”, “Circuit Diagram” and “Parts List” prepared according to TUV requirements. Product testing will be conducted according to the parameters provided by these documents.
4. The gs certification has strict requirements on the factory's quality assurance system. The factory shall be subject to review and annual inspection: - The factory shall establish its own quality assurance system according to the ISO9000 system standard when it is shipped in bulk. At a minimum, the factory must have its own quality control system, quality records and other documents and sufficient production and inspection capabilities. - Prior to the issuance of the GS certificate, the GS certificate must be issued only after the new factory has passed the examination. - After the issuance of the certificate, the factory shall be reviewed at least once a year. No matter how many GS marks are applied for at the factory, factory inspection only needs one time.
